Biography
Wayne Perkins was born David Wayne Perkins in Birmingham, Alabama. He grew
up in a family where both parents played guitar and sang gospel and country music.
By the time Wayne was 18, he had a job as a session guitarist in
Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
He later recorded and played with some of the most renowned artists in the world.
Wayne is the only American that was considered to replace Mick Taylor in the
The Rolling Stones. His work has appeared on over 50 Platinum albums and 5
Gold albums.
Wayne Perkins lives in Birmingham and is writing and producing. To hear his music
